About Me
I love to fix things so that they can be enjoyed again, whether it's going to be worn or used around the home.
In my spare time, I love ALL things crafty, paper, fabric and mosaics.
Repair or Replace
Our first discussion and quote is to hear your specific need and offer possible solutions. I will suggest whether to repair or replace. No two jobs are the same, every customer and item is unique and my aim is to alter things specific to individual needs.
What I Do
Pickup & Deliver
If you can't come to me, I will come to you.
Hems
Shortening of all hems inc. curtains. A fitting is not always required
Repairs
Holes, rips and broken zips. I do it all. Leather, suede, costumes, sports gear and even soft toys.
Uniforms & Corporate
I do badges attached to clothing and custom fitting of work/school uniforms.
Knit/Crochet
If your item is not fabric, but knitted or crocheted I can repair that as well.
Formal Wear
Bridesmaids, ballgowns, minor suit alterations - all of that can be taken care of.
Upsize & Downsize
I can almost always make something fit that doesn't look great on you.
Customised Bedding
Caravan, camping or specialised bedding. Cutting sheets and quilts to fit.
Urgent jobs
Did you leave it to the last minute? Contact us and I will do our best to fit you in.
What I Don't Do
Delicate Bridal
I don't specialise in bridal gowns but can recommend some good dressmakers.
Make Clothing
Alterations is our specialty. I leave the dressmaking to those who love it.
Heavy Duty
Canvas, tents, canopies, blinds. I leave those to the experts.
